I have been licensed as a Marriage Family Therapist for nine years, and in that time have worked with children, adolescents, couples, families and individuals. I am experienced in treating a variety of mental health, relationship and life issues, including anxiety, depression and trauma (grief, developmental trauma and PTSD). I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and use relaxation, expressive art and guided imagery to help clients connect with their deepest selves to shed light on their issues. I also have been trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (“EMDR”) and a powerful trauma informed treatment known as “Ego State Therapy,” which consists of recognizing and understanding the various, often conflicting feelings and beliefs that exist within us. My goal for each client is to be able to to feel peace and joy and to have fulfilling relationships in which they can set appropriate boundaries, ask for what they want and express their feelings completely and appropriately. I invite you to consider taking a journey towards growth and new awareness by doing counseling with me or any of the other therapists here at Creekside.
